Obeeyay over delivers on exceptional single, "Let'm Know"
Carving out his own niche within an incredibly competitive Hip Hop space, Obeeyay has over delivered on his latest track, “Let’m Know”. We’re loving it! Read on for our glowing review, in addition to a background on this emerging artist.
Currently representing the Los Angeles music scene, it’s appeared that everything Obeeyay has attached his name to has quickly turned to gold. On his newest single “Let’m Know” that fact stays true as he continues to effortlessly blend and infuse genres all across the musical spectrum. From his roots in R&B and Pop to where he’s ended up today, there’s clearly been tons of growth, and we sincerely can’t wait for everyone out there to get their ears on this.
With a debut EP set to drop sometime in 2022, our initial introduction to this artist has come through “Let’m Know”, but ultimately he’s created fans for life out of us in the sense that we’ve heard embodies the feeling of fresh and original. As mentioned above, this space is crowded, but the consistency that Obeeyay is bringing into the mix is coming through flawlessly within his vocals and delivery. To be honest, we haven’t really heard anything like how he presents lyrics, but that’s what’s going to keep us coming back for years to come.
Of course he’s the biggest part of the musical puzzle, but the production and mixing aren’t far behind. A recommendation we can make now is to check this one out with a nice set of headphones so as to not miss out on those sonic subtleties. There’s really so much going on in the background that might otherwise be overshadowed by everything else. The team that’s helped put this one together 100% deserves a well-deserved shout out too.
While it really does feel like we could point out 100 things that put smiles on our collective faces, the passion, emotion, and love you can feel oozing through “Let’m Know” certainly have to be towards the top. It’s a catchy song we have no doubt that will be stuck in your heads, but the positive lasting impressions were unexpected when we came out of our initial listen. Obviously we’ve got to urge the readers out there to give this one a listen, it’s completely worthy of your time and energy.
