Ahead of new album, New Polarities tease 80's themed single, "No Use"
Review by Austin Sher
Ahead of their newest album releasing soon, New Polarities are back with a stellar 80’s themed single, titled “No Use”. Do yourselves a favor and kick off your weekend by reading our thoughts on the track, in addition to a bio on the band behind the music.
Have you ever gotten the feeling of picking up your life and leaving it all behind? Well New Polarities have let us know that it is exactly this desire that they’ve captured in the band's upcoming first album “Œ”. The entire album relays what New Polarities embody: “To step outside of yourself, journey beyond the real and enter the possible while never entirely breaking free from that anker that so cruelly grips our innermost being”.
With a few singles already being released ahead of “No Use”, it’s quite easy for us to say how excited we are for the full record. Considering “No Use” takes a bit of influence from the era of the 80’s, a favorite decade of ours, we don’t want to overstate that we’re highly looking forward to a record of cohesive tracks that fully encapsulates the bands overall sound.
Additionally, if you’re not already following the band on their Instagram, what are you waiting for? The teaser videos they’ve been putting out for the official music video for “No Use” have got us even more excited! Not only are the band producing spectacular tracks, but it looks like they’re also having a blast while they’re creating. In a year as wild as this one, it’s so refreshing to see people having fun, creating, and making the best of it all.
Did we mention they’ve put out music leading up to this full release? If you like what you hear on “No Use”, which you certainly will. We highly recommend and suggest checking out the previous singles, “Ad Repeatum”, “Nighfall”, and “OneOldSix”. We can virtually guarantee you’ll enjoy what you hear, especially because it provides a greater context to the rest of their sound.
With all this being said, now is about the time we’ll let you know to stop reading and start listening! For everything New Polarities, to listen, and to keep up with all future releases and information, please check out the following links below.
