NASAYA teases new EP "RÊVES" with hypnotic single, "RUMMELSBURG"

Making waves all over the electronic music space, NASAYA has just unleashed something special on the world with “RUMMELSBURG”. With the fresh announcement of his new EP RÊVES coming on the same day, we’re starting to piece together the puzzle of how the entirety of the record is going to sound. Considering that he considers himself to be a crossover artist, we do feel that this one specifically shines a light on his multiple capabilities as a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Without a doubt though, it’s both a song and an artist that we can’t recommend enough.
Currently releasing music through Foreign Family Collective, NASAYA has continued to level up not only his sound, but the complexities in which we hear in the music. Obviously the world and notable artists have taken notice, especially ODESZA who he’ll be opening up for next month. Specifically on “RUMMELSBURG” though, it’s three and a half straight minutes of twists, turns, and surprises that makes you as a listener literally on the edge of your seat. The song kicks off with a relatively calming beat but quickly amps up and makes you feel like you’re on a rollercoaster ride. Truly, there’s so many ideas and expressions that come across in such a short amount of time, it’s musical whiplash, but in a way that’s beyond pleasing to the ear.
Comparing it to the release of “CIEL” which wasn’t released too long ago, that gave us a decent idea of what would come on RÊVES, especially through its emotions. However, this latest track has simply flipped everything around and done an immense job of showing off the producer's talents. It seems as though everyone with a computer nowadays can figure out how to make something, good or bad, but it takes a keen ear like NASAYA’s to fill in the gaps and add a signature touch.
