Micah Winterhawk unveils the background on her single, "REPLACED" - Interview

Fresh off the release of her latest single titled “REPLACED”, we got the wonderful opportunity to sit down and speak with the artist behind the music, Micah Winterhawk! Check out our full interview below.

For those out of the loop, Micah Winterhawk is an unbelievably talented singer, songwriter, and producer. Blending up her own style of music that touches upon Pop, R&B, and Trap, her newest single “REPLACED” was the ideal amalgamation of sound that we expected from her. Getting to speak with Micah was an absolute treat on so many levels as it really allowed us to get into her head and hear all about the important inspirations and influences that led to the creation of this song.

While of course we touched on it quite a bit in our discussion, Micah is a self-made producer that so far has received no help on her music. Listening to it, you’d immediately think she’s got a team of experts in the background, however all those pretty and atmospheric sounds present in her music came directly from her growing production skills. “REPLACED” is the perfect addition to her discography and it’s got us super excited to see what the future holds in terms of new singles, EP’s, and albums.

Like so many that are in the realm of making their own music, the entire process of it all can be quite cathartic and a release to truly express yourself. For Micah, that fact stays true, and on the background of “REPLACED”, we highly recommend you make the connections within her deep lyricism to really connect the dots on the message she’s trying to convey. We covered it in our chat, but we still recommend you give it a listen.

While the priority here is to definitely give her newest song (and other music) a listen as soon as you can, we want to point you in the direction once more of an emerging artist who is really doing things right. Micah Winterhawk’s base is set, and with more music on the horizon, we’re thrilled to see the directions she takes.
