Currently based in Adelaide, South Australia, Matiah is a producer and audio engineer who’s been steadily building an impressive catalog of music over the years. Keeping things vibrant in style and always aiming to innovate, her newest song is called “Without You” and it’s instantly one of those songs that resonates. Whether you’re a fan of electronic music or not, we confidently feel this could be the track that hooks you into the genre as a whole. Needless to say, we can’t wait for everyone to give this a listen.
Self-describing her whole sound as “somewhere in the dark/electronic-pop world”, we particularly enjoy that she’s not pigeon-holing herself into one specific genre. Instead of only making a specific type of music, Matiah is daring to think outside the box and playing with complex productions that turn into these wondrous and grand singles. You could find yourself grooving to the beat or even finding a moment of introspection within the lyrics. These songs are quite versatile in their demeanor, however they’re fresh and original takes on the overall genre that needs it so badly.
With so much experimentation coming now and in the future for Matiah, it’s going to be a real journey to see how everything evolves. When you're ultimately making music for yourself, it’s easy to be steered towards a mainstream sound, however this amplifies that creativity yet makes it available for those willing to listen.
