Left Of The Slash engineer another instant classic, "Hayne"
Keeping to the plan and steadily releasing a new song per month, Left Of The Slash are back with a slow burner titled “Hayne”. Read on for our full thoughts on the newest single, as well as a refresher on one of our new favorite projects.
Following up our interview with lead man Stephen Reid Nemeroff from last month, Left Of The Slash is back again with another high quality single called “Hayne”. Melodic and passionate as usual, we’re inching closer and closer to the inevitable album release that’s set to come this Fall. As we continue to wait, the band is certainly keeping their fan base fed by delivering powerful hits month after month.
On “Hayne” specifically, the song kicks off with an energetic guitar riff that swiftly turns to vocals that are sure to have you mesmerized. There truly wasn’t a single dull moment or passage that felt lacking in anyway. What you’re going to experience here is a classic dose of Left Of The Slash in which they channel a multitude of genre influence, effortlessly mixed with their own unique style of delivery. While it would certainly be impossible to say which of the singles that we covered are our “favorite”, we’re going to have to pass it off to the listener to be the ultimate judge.
Considering that this is our 4th piece of coverage thus far covering the band, it wouldn’t be a wild claim to say that we’ve quickly become mega fans over the course of the past few months. As mentioned above, we even got the opportunity to speak with the band about their last single “Never Let Go”, among plenty of other topics surrounding the band’s upbringing and what everyone can expect in the near future. As this review of “Hayne” comes out on release day, we have to yet again overwhelmingly recommend you hop into a listen with intense joy that there’s more Left Of The Slash to hear. Without a doubt, this is a modern day rock band that is doing things right in every sense of the word, but also carving out a path for themselves that can be audibly heard.
