Joey Miceli debuts his productionally rich new full length record, "Serendipity"

Back with his third officially released full length album, Joey Miceli has shared his absolute stunner of a record, Serendipity. Please read along with us as we share our thoughts, in addition to a background and insight on the artist himself.
Currently based out of Las Vegas, Joey Miceli has been crafting music since the young age of 5 years old, with his first single “I Wanna Do Everything” being released at 11. While his career trajectory has included acting as well, we’d love to keep the focus on his newest record Serendipity. According to Joey on the background of the album, he let us know it’s “a journey through his guilt, heartache, insecurities, and desires.”
Overall though, Joey’s goal is to help people, connect to people, and guide them through complex feelings of their own, make people feel understood, and be someone they can look to to tell their stories, as they relate to one another. As fantastic as the record is from start to finish, it also takes itself to the next level by including deeply personal lyricism from the artist and important life themes covered as well.
Speaking on the music specifically, Serendipity features everything we need to consider an album absolutely immaculate. For starters, the unique use of sampling is always a nice added bonus in music. It complements the lyrics and provides a brief listening break and transfer from song to song. Productionally, it is outstanding! For a first listen, we’d highly recommend listening on a nice pair of headphones or sound system to truly not miss any glimmers of sound that tend to appear in the back of the mix. It’s depth like that can really showcase an artist’s talents.
Now while the record comes in at 10 total tracks, spanning 35 minutes, there’s no room for filler anywhere on the listen. Every track is in its right place and you can immediately feel the cohesiveness and attention to detail on how each track was picked to be in its place. From start to finish, Joey is telling a story that deserves to be listened to in order. While it’s always nice to add individual songs to playlists for repeated listens, we do feel that this record was created to be listened to in complete listen. Not to say it would lose its meaning by not doing so, but it’s the artist’s touch that comes into play, especially in the finalizing process.

The time spent, the stories told, and the rich sounds created are so worth your time we know for a fact we’ll be waiting on pins and needles for the next full length release from Joey Miceli.
