Joey Gonzalez shares soulful new single with the release of "New Days Glory"
Review by Austin Sher
Soon to be released on January 1st, 2021, Joey Gonzalez is kicking the year in a big way with the release of his all new single, “New Days Glory”. We’re loving it! Read along with us to read our full featured review and a refresher on the artist as well.
With our first release review in 2021, we’re thrilled to be covering Joey Gonzalez’s all new single, “New Days Glory”. After covering his past releases like “Annabelle” and “Tonight”, it’s no surprise that this track has just perfectly progressed on what Joey has already been creating. According to Joey, this song is not a New Year’s resolution, but a life change.
Joey also let us know, “This song is about making that choice and taking action. Embracing the dawning of a new day feeling when we overcome an obstacle along the way towards our goal or dream. We can't live a life that is full of regret from untaken chances and unrealized potential.”
An all acoustic song was just a glorious calming start to the New Year. Putting away the last and starting anew was the feeling that we needed. On “New Days Glory”, it quickly becomes an intimate and soulful single that speaks true to the heart. Within the themes and lyricism created, it’s another showing from Joey that he creates best when the source material is real and honest.
Seeing as this the first single of the year for 2021, there’s truly no telling what else is going to be released by Joey. Although we love this acoustic single, it is a slight departure from his normal sound. Not to say that’s a bad thing at all, we welcome the change, but we also want to hear more of the signature sound in the coming months when there’s inevitably another that’s shared.
More specifically though, we want to make it clear that yet again you check out this artist and this song, you surely will find a lot that you love. So with that being said, make sure to follow along with Joey on his social media, as well as listen with the link below.
