Jennifer Alvarado reaches euphoric highs on single, "Rock This Way"
Previewing another stellar single off of her upcoming record Songbird, Jennifer Alvarado is back at it with a special one titled “Rock This Way”. Please read on for our glowing review of the track, as well as a much needed background on the artist.
Expertly blending together an eclectic mix of Rock, Pop, and Country, Jennifer Alvarado has simply outdone herself on her newest song, “Rock This Way”. Capturing our attention from the opening notes and beyond, this is serving as the second single release leading up to her sophomore LP, Songbird. The lead single “Curious” was a total delight, but “Rock This Way” has our hype levels rising a lot faster than anticipated. Slated for a Summer 2022 release, the record itself is right around the corner, and we can already tell how much Jennifer has grown since last year’s Playing With Fire. Considering she’s been recognized and awarded heavily for her past works, fans all over the place have been eager for a follow up. We’ve yet to be disappointed, so let us tell you how much we’ve thoroughly enjoyed “Rock This Way”. Like always, Jennifer has led this off with her signature empowering vocals that not only let you know who’s boss, but have an inviting sensibility about them to get you to sing along once you learn the words. There’s something about this song that feels anthemic in a sense, mainly because it’s not difficult to envision yourself in a sea of thousands cheering and singing right back to her.
Now we mentioned it above, but her flawless blend of genres really is one of the selling points on why we keep coming back. You don’t need to be a superfan of each individual sound and that’s exactly why this works so well. She’s included the heaviness of a rock instrumentation with glimmers of country, but those pop hooks she includes are what make this one so great in the first place.
