Jaxyn Lethe pivots her sound on upbeat & vulnerable single, "So Much Cooler"
Raw, vulnerable, and filled with relaxing rhythms, we’re loving everything about Jaxyn Lethe’s second official single, “So Much Cooler”. Read on as we take a closer look into the track, as well as a much needed background on this talented artist.
Currently representing the music scene in Baltimore, Maryland, Jaxyn Lethe has kicked off her 2023 on an incredibly high note with her latest single, “So Much Cooler”. Quickly enticing you with glimmers of dream pop, confidently led by her silky smooth and expressive vocals, this is an impeccably well rounded song that’s got a great production and personal message. This was our introduction to the artist, but we’re already hoping for a follow up as soon as possible. Obviously, we’re urging everyone out there to give this a spin.
On the background of it all, Jaxyn has let us know that this song is about “going through life when you know you're making bad choices”. Easily, that’s one of the more relatable sentiments as all of us attempt to figure out our own lives and somehow navigate an absolutely wild world. In this scenario though, the artist leads the listener down a path of self reflection and realization, hoping to find some resolve in everyday life. Considering that this is just her second song, we took the opportunity to check out her debut “What Do You Do With No One?”. Sonically, this is a completely different approach that shows off an immense versatility of creation, and really projects an uplifting and optimistic sound.
As a singer, songwriter, and producer, everything you’re about to hear came directly from Jaxyn Lethe, which in its own right is completely impressive. She’s right at the beginning of a hopefully fruitful career, but it’s not difficult to sense the burst of passion, love, and sheer joy for the creative process that comes through on “So Much Cooler”. Going forward, it’s certainly going to be interesting to hear how the music, style, and genre continue to evolve, all the while carving out a signature sound. Through two tracks, we’ve heard more than enough to want to continue to follow along for all that comes.
