Iris Bonet crafts a heartfelt single on "Still Here"
Entering 2022 on a tear with a crazily catchy new single called “Still Here”, Iris Bonet has done it once again. Read on for a closer look at the track, as well as a background on this emerging artist.
Capitalizing off a killer 2021, Iris Bonet has taken those talents and jump started the New Year with a single called “Still Here” that we legitimately haven’t been able to keep out of our heads. Taking a pop-centric sound and utilizing her voice to keep things fresh stylistically, she’s blended together imagery-filled lyricism and a cool production to create something incredibly inventive. Of course we’ve got to give it all the thumbs up and a whopping suggestion to give a listen.
Produced by Iris herself which is a feat in its own, this song is about “the obstacles of chasing your dreams. It's meant to encourage those pursuing their passions that run into roadblocks or discouragement”. As an independent artist, getting started and even attempting to make music is all the roadblock in the world you really encounter, so surpassing that and creating something new like this is a true feat in the message. The song itself is fantastic, we can make that clear, but listening to your own words and inspiring others is even better.
At just a little under three minutes in runtime, she wastes zero time with any pointless filler or gimmicky production effects to entice the listener. What you can fully expect to hear is a heartfelt and meaningful song from an artist who means every word she says. Not to mention that the song centers around her silky smooth vocals to really elevate it all, but honestly that kind of just feels like the cherry on top to everything else you’re getting.
Considering this is coming out at the top of the year, our true hope here is that this is not the last we’ll see from Iris Bonet in the year 2022. In the meantime, please familiarize yourself with the song, follow along for more, and stay tuned for everything by checking out the links below. Enjoy!
