Illumen share expansive sounding single, "Drifting Apart"

On the third single coming from Illumen, they continue to expand his sound and refine exactly what they’d like to accomplish in the future. Featuring heavy beats, massive drops, and meaningful lyricism, Illumen’s “Drifting Apart” is a full spectrum song that has personally checked all of our boxes for what we consider to be something great. Without a doubt, we highly encourage all to give this one a listen as soon as possible.
Currently representing the Stockholm music scene, Illumen are a three piece band that are so clearly influenced by a wide variety of musicians and genres. Sort of creating their own niche of sound, “Drifting Apart” falls into the category of a stadium-ready song that’s built for a mass crowd. We instantly envisioned ourselves singing along to this song in a sea of people in a large venue. Typically the bigger and grander the production, the quicker we would jump to that obvious conclusion.
While this is only the project’s third single release thus far, we can confidently state that they’re on the right track and are quickly building a discography that they should be proud to share. We went ahead and checked out the other singles, “What’s Going On” and “Reasons”, and to no surprise in the slightest, they’re also stellar. We did feel that “Drifting Apart” was certainly the most cohesive of them all, but nonetheless everything is in tip top shape and they’ve set a solid base for years in the future. Honestly, we can’t wait to watch them flourish and to see just how expansive they can get.
