Finally reunited after quite a while, AJ Estrada of Hotel of the Laughing Tree was kind enough to drop in for a full interview to discuss the band’s latest single “Mirrors Up”. Please check it out below.
For those potentially out of the loop, Hotel of the Laughing Tree is a project that’s been around for some time now, however the band has been on a hiatus over the past 8 years. Fast forward to today and they’ve got a brand new song out titled “Mirrors Up” that plays like they haven’t missed a single step. Getting to speak with AJ Estrada was the cherry on top to our multiple listens, but honestly it was a real pleasure getting to hear their origin story and everything else that’s slated for release in 2023.
Hotel of the Laughing Tree's newest single, "Mirror's Up", is a highly anticipated track off their upcoming album Faraway Friends, which is set to release at the end of April. After an eight-year hiatus, this track marks a significant milestone for the band, who have been navigating the complexities of being both friends and bandmates while being separated. Originally from Long Island, NY, the trio has been self-producing and releasing their own music since 2009, with all their artwork, merchandise, and videos created by themselves, resulting in a in an extraordinary sound that still manages to sound fresh and original.
