Francesca Beghe makes a valiant return on new record, "Francesca Beghe Live"
After nearly 10 years since she’s fronted a band on stage, Francesca Beghe has made a joyous return for an all new record titled Francesca Beghe Live. It’s a thrill from start to finish! Read on for a closer look into the record, as well as an update on this artist.
Like riding a bike, Francesca Beghe is back at it and sounding better than ever with a full length album that showcases her true essence as a live stage performer. Delivering an emphatic performance throughout the album, she was joined on stage by a number of top tier musicians who have played with some of music’s biggest acts such as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, James Taylor, and plenty more. Although the instrumentation in the background is divine, Francesca leads the charge and consistently steals the show throughout the hour listen.
Across 14 passionate tracks, there’s one consistency that shows itself, and it’s got to be that Francesca has a vocal delivery that is equal parts commanding and empowering. Of course getting to witness this in a live setting specifically for this record must have been a night to remember, but having the professional recording in all its glory is about the second best option for now. “Trust In Me” was the lead single and ultimately the teaser for what we figured would be something great, but that track is surrounded by others like “No Use Talkin’” and “Little One” that have over delivered in unexplainable ways.
The sonic mix between upbeat and vibrant moods mixed with downtempo ballads and introspective songs on this was also a huge surprise. No matter how you’re feeling, a cohesive and chronological listen of this record will have you up and down on a rollercoaster of emotions, seriously. “Angel Choir” was in a league of its own in terms of bringing out the drama and potentially Francesca’s best vocal performance of them all. That’s certainly up for debate considering they’re all stunners, but we suppose you’ll have to be the judges for now.
From beginning to end she had us on the edge of our seats and the live aspect of it all really made this intimate performance come to life. It should go without saying, but we can’t wait for everyone out there to give this a focused listen.
