Eunith crafts a dreamy soundscape on "They Wanted You"

Already commanding 2022 with an incredibly strong single titled “They Wanted You”, we’re loving everything about Eunith’s newest release. Please read on for our full review of the track, as well as a background on the artist.

Somewhere between clever indie rock and progressive electronic styles, the music of Eunith is something we feel the entire spectrum of music lovers could come to enjoy. On his newest single called “They Wanted You”, he’s blended together the instrumentals of Radiohead and the spaciness of Tame Impala for something simply extraordinary. We love it and can’t wait for everyone to give it a listen.

While exploring some of life’s most ambiguous avenues such as when we begin to ask ourselves big questions like “what do I want to do with my life?”, the artist has attempted to answer within his lyricism. So much of what we enjoyed about this song in particular is that is really isn’t just a one note sounding track, but really an atmospheric world that Eunith has created. Keeping things impeccably fresh on the production side and sliding in so much originality, it’s what made us consider this to be a truly great song off first listen.

A recommendation that we’ll make right now besides to give it a listen, would be to listen on a nice pair of headphones. There’s so much subtlety present here and all the flourishments in the background really show themselves when you listen close. It’s easy to get distracted by all that’s going on around, but multiple focused listens are where you’ll find the sweet spot. We’ve got a pretty solid feeling as well that the moment you finished up your listen of “They Wanted You”, you’ll definitely feel the urge to check out the rest as well. It’s a deep dive worth pursuing.
