Elroy pens another winner on his latest single, "BONES"
Seeing its official release today on February 9th, 2021, Elroy is back with another stellar single, titled “BONES”. We’re loving it! Please do yourselves a favor and read along with us for our full thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the artist as well.
Fresh off the release of his last single "Parasite", which led to a Spotify Editorial placement and over 50k streams, Elroy is back with yet another intriguing track, “BONES”. For those unaware, the artist is a blossoming musician, specializing in alternative hip-hop and anti-pop. His sound is refreshing as ever and we’re beyond thrilled he’s crossed our path.
Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, surrounded by farmland, Elroy quickly turned his attention at a young age to writing and producing music. His isolation on the farm was all the spark he needed to dive headfirst into a career of music and since then he attended Berklee College of Music, to then quickly realize pursuing a career in music is a full time job.
Thankfully, it’s worked out quite well for him so far as all of his released music has been extremely impressive. Specifically on “Bones” however, Elroy has seriously outdone himself. With a production value that rivals most mainstream music, his commanding yet inviting vocals, and a beat that just makes you want to move, it’s no surprise in the slightest that this song is a winner beyond words.
With such success on “Parasite”, it must have been difficult for the artist to try to outdo himself, but we confidently think he’s done so. Considering this is the first single of his to see the light of day in 2021, it just has us even more excited for what’s to come during the rest of this year. Whether it be an EP or a full length record, we’re here for whatever he’s gearing up to put out.
If this happens to be your first foray into the music of Elroy, we highly recommend you start at the beginning. There’s a fair amount of work that’s been released so far, but we can guarantee you’re going to enjoy all of it. It’ll also show you just how much he’s grown as an artist since he put out his first officially recorded music back in 2019. It’ll be a serious joy to listen to the evolution.
Wrapping it up though, it should be abundantly clear by now that we’re digging what Elroy has put out, and “BONES” isn’t an exception. Do yourselves a favor and give it a listen, you’re going to love it!
