Winning award after award and being lauded for her originality in music, Eileen Carey is continuing on that streak with a stellar track she’s titled “Dreaming With Me”. Hitting euphoric highs in her vocals, experimenting with a genre-bending production, and bringing all the good vibes, we’ve sincerely enjoyed our multiple listens to this lovely song. If you’ve yet to explore Eileen’s growing discography, this is the perfect entry point for the uninitiated.
With a music video accompanying the single (attached below), she’s seriously put that uplifting feel of the song into a visual. Ultimately the song is powerful and holds a “confidence and desire for inclusivity”, but Eileen is also empowering through her voice that’s vibrant and striking. Right from the opening notes, you get immersed into this almost 80’s-esque tone that brings you back, but with a ton of modern elements that border on futuristic. She’s priding herself on spanning the spectrum of sound and music, which is why we’d recommend this song to anyone and everyone who enjoys a classic sounding tune.
At right around three and a half minutes in runtime, truly there isn’t any filler or dead space, which feels all too common in the pop genre these days. We’ve experienced a sort of wall of sound effect that puts it all out on the line for listeners to enjoy, dance, and groove to. The BPM are high enough to pop this one at a party, or we could definitely envision ourselves belting it out loud singing in the car. To call “Dreaming With Me” versatile would be an understatement, because it’s truly a song for any mood or situation, and 100% an energy booster.
