Always making the day better when her music comes on, more Daisy Tyler has just entered our lives and it’s fantastic! Please read on for our full review of “I’m Not Sorry”, as well as a much needed refresher on this talented artist.

Los Angeles-based artist Daisy Tyler has delivered the goods once again with another vocal centric single called “I’m Not Sorry”. Adding on another memorable song to her quickly growing discography, she continues to evolve her sound in ways that we previously thought unthinkable. If this is your first introduction to Daisy’s music, you’re in for a total treat, because there’s so much greatness to dig into.

Having loved everything we’ve reviewed from her before like “Pieces Of You” and “Liability”, Daisy Tyler has continued on in her path to tell extremely personal stories. In this iteration of her music, “I’m Not Sorry” tells the tale of her relationship with her father and how it’s made her the strong person she is today. While of course these are not easy subjects to talk about, we always have the hope in these types of songs that it provides a sense of relief for those musicians who have to relive potentially traumatizing situations.

Putting the message of the song aside for even just a moment, the allure that this song holds is astounding without a doubt. The way that Daisy’s vocals single handedly carry the song from start to finish is always our favorite part of the music, but something about the production side of things here cranked up a notch too. There was a certain edginess we felt throughout our listening that was a nice evolution of what we’ve heard in the past and might be an indicator of things going forward. Whether it’s just Daisy working on these songs or a team helping tune things up, it barely matters, because the end products have been immense.

Once again, if this is your intro to Daisy Tyler, you’ve found her at the most ideal time, because now you get to go back and listen to all of the impactful music she’s made.
