Cyadine unleash the facts on heavy single, "Hatespiration" - Interview
Delivering easily the heaviest song we’ve reviewed so far this year, we got the special opportunity to speak with the entirety of Cyadine about their newest single, “Hatespiration”! Check out our full interview below.
Made up of Eddie (guitar) and Bennie (drums) Knappenberger, Noah Polston (guitar), Shane Uhl (bass) and Aaron Gilbert (vocals), Cyadide are a metal band based out of Fraser, Michigan. Keeping things ultimately classic on the metal end, but never ceasing to infuse a glimpse into the future of the genre, everything about their latest track “Hatespiration” is pure energy. Getting to speak with everyone was just the cherry on top to this song release.
On the background of the track, Noah Polston says, “At its core, ‘Hatespiration’ is a song about having hate and haters in life, but not knowing what to do about it and instinctually wanting to push them all away and for it to end. Until you realize that they’ll never stop and you can take the hate, using it as fuel or to inspire yourself, proving all of them wrong.”
Taking that important message and blending it into this aggressive approach of a song was the ideal stylistic choice in our eyes. Now we don’t want to spoil too much surrounding our talk with the band, but the important insights they gave and the truthful answers that had to do with this song’s creation were priceless. Not to mention the infinite knowledge we picked up on who we’re missing out on musically.
Looking towards the future though and considering this is the band’s first single release of the year, you can pretty much guarantee that more is on the way in terms of singles and maybe even an EP coming out soon. One thing we did harp on specifically was how well their music translates in a live setting and with that being said, if you’re in the Michigan area, you’ll definitely be able to catch them at a show or two. There’s more touring on the way as well, but you’ll have to follow them on their social media to keep up with it all.
Lastly, we’ve included the important links below so that you can listen and keep up with Cyadine’s whereabouts. This is a killer band you definitely don’t want to miss out on, enjoy!
