Cris Cap & Tyla Raé collaborate on reduxed version of "Feel The Love"
Serving up a reduxed version of his single “Feel The Love”, Cris Cap has gone above and beyond in creating something wonderfully soulful. Keep reading as we share our thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the artist.
Currently based in Germany, Cris Cap is a producer and songwriter who’s imparted his seriously touching lyrics for a special new single titled “Feel The Love”. With one other version of this song that exists (acoustic), we can confidently say that we’re enjoying this one more than anything. The acoustic is great in its own right, but the groovy feeling and glimmers of R&B that present themselves are such a nice addition. Needless to say, we’re urging everyone to give both of them a listen and make up your mind for yourselves.
On the background of it all, “Feel The Love” is really about “when lovers lose sight of what they have in each other, it helps to remember why they are together and look back to the start”. It’s a message that’s so relatable in the sense that some relationships you begin to take for granted as they feel easier. In this scenario though, the way that Cris Cap has formulated his words really drives home the sentiment to focus on one another and to try to not get it to that point. Considering that this is a collaboration single featuring two incredibly talented vocalists, it should go without saying that we love the differing perspectives given from both of them.
Instrumentally speaking, there’s also so much that was added in terms of complexity and depth in this reduxed version. Once again, the acoustic certainly has that lovely stripped back and intimate feel to it, but we’re much more drawn to the slight funk and energy that this one holds. Meanwhile, both Cris and Tyla have brought their best in terms of featuring dynamic ranges, expressive delivery, and a real feeling of what modern R&B should be. Both artists are worth your time and energy to explore, but start off with a listen of this as soon as you can.
