Inspired and influenced by the major female artists of the 70’s such as Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, and so many more, Collette Astle is paving her own way and making music that is entirely personal to herself. In our full interview with this emerging artist, we got the perfect amount of insight on her single “Blue Forever”, in addition to a whole lot of super fun answers regarding her process and life.
Considering that this track is the lead single off of her upcoming full length LP, we can confidently say she’s off to a hot start. As beautiful as the actual music is, the real heart and passion lies directly within the lyricism. Relating to her personal experiences such as religious difficulties and marriage, making music has been the perfect outlet for Collette. Luckily for all the listeners out there, she’s taking her pain and creating true beauty and art in the process.
