C-Beem recounts personal experience on instrumentally rich song, "Warriors"

Following up his 2022 EP Tales From Tono, C-Beem has made his way back with an outstanding new single titled “Warriors”. Keep reading for our glowing review of the track, in addition to a background on the artist.

Taking his time and letting the song fully form into something beautiful and transcendent, C-Beem has completely nailed it with his newest song, “Warriors”. Self-described as something that “rings out with touches of Pink Floyd’s Division Bell”, that’s a claim that we can 100% back up as this fully emanates that era of the band, but this artist has still managed to infuse a ton of originality and personality of his own into the song. Needless to say, we highly recommend everyone out there give this a play as soon as you can.

For those unfamiliar with C-Beem’s work, he’s been hard at it over the past two years meticulously growing his discography and experimenting with sound, style, and genre. On his latest “Warriors” though, listeners can expect a guitar and synthesizer heavy single that features grand atmospheric tones and embodies the feeling of floating on a cloud. Seriously, there’s a certain light and airiness that this song possesses that makes the world feel calm, invokes relaxation, yet has more than enough going on to truly pique the listener’s interest from beginning to end.

On the background of the song, the artist has said, “The warrior metaphor starts from my own scrape with near heart failure last year (which I survived ... obviously) extending into a wider lyrical theme - that we all must eventually face battles in troubled times, and not just for ourselves”. As clearly impressive as the instrumentation and production side of things are, it 100% helps to know where this song came from and what inspired it. The implications of real life experiences and situations were at play, so we’re thrilled that C-Beem can now have this song in his repertoire to reflect on. If anything, it should serve as something for those who have experienced similar situations to confide in and know they’re not alone.

With all that being said though, we’re massive fans of this song, and can’t wait to hear more. Please go ahead and check out the rest of the links below to listen, follow along, and to stay tuned for more on the way.
