Brvdley Quinn excels on sophomore single, "By My Side"
Released almost a month after his debut track, Brvdley Quinn is back and better than ever on his sophomore single, “By My Side”. We’re loving it! Do yourselves a favor and read on for our complete song breakdown, as well as a refresher on the artist.
Representing the Long Island music scene, Brvdley Quinn has returned with a slight change in genre on his latest single, “By My Side”. In a collaboration with another local artist named Andrew McManus who offered his skillful guitar playing, we couldn’t help but immediately fall in love with everything that this song has to offer, in addition to what it represents to the musician as well.
According to Brvdley, “this song was written for my fiancée and features many lines that offer insight to the story that is our relationship. Produced by Daveer Mohan, this song truly has a special place in my heart as it holds so much meaning for me. The song was recorded in a grueling 9 hour studio session that I could easily say was my favorite moment of my music career thus far. Working so hard to complete something so important truly felt incredible. The guitarist featured on this song is my best friend of nine years so working with him for the first time was incredibly special as well.”
Now that we’ve familiarized ourselves a bit, can we just stop to appreciate the dedication that is 9 hours in a studio to complete this. Thankfully the end product turned out to be as fantastic as we’d hope they’d aimed it to be. On the production side of things, Daveer absolutely nailed the sound, but it has also expanded what we loved so much about the artist’s debut, “Let Go of NYC”.
Seeing as though there are now two singles that have been released under the guise of Brvdley Quinn, we’re adoring the direction and experimentation that has been displayed. The vocals are on par with the debut, but the grandiose sounds, effects, and completeness on “By My Side” are what has popped out the most. Truly, it’s got us even more excited than we were after the debut to hear what else is in the works in the mind of this talented musician.
It should go without saying, but we’ve got no choice but to recommend a listen to this single. Our aim isn’t to spoil the songs, but only to guide you in the direction of great music. This right here is great music and the sincerity of his work should propel you to check it out as soon as possible.
