Brody Leigh comes out strong on emotional single, "Sad Club"

With a debut single that is sure to make head turns literally all over the world, consider us impressed with Brody Leigh’s “Sad Club”. Do yourselves a favor and read on for our review of the track, in addition to a background on this emerging artist.

First things first, is Brody Leigh accepting applications for her “Sad Club”? If so, we’d love to join! Sort of kidding, but seriously, everything about Brody’s debut single has been highly anticipated and ultimately over delivered for the quality, originality, and freshness it's given us. After doing 6 months of development with Luna Management last year and teasing snippets via TIkTok and Instagram, we’re just thankful the final product is here and is as amazing as it sounds.

At right around three and a half minutes in run time, this artist wastes not even a second immersing the listener into this moody, slightly angsty, yet totally artistic feat of a track. Instrumentally speaking, it’s semi-refined in its endeavor to create an atmosphere, but that only adds to the charm of it all really. Anything on the production end that would be described as over the top feels like it would take away from the allure and focus that the song creates. With that being said, the constant of it all is really Brody’s vocals that aim to invite and proclaim personal experiences from her life.

A debut single as strong as this deserves a follow up as soon as possible. Obviously forcing art as an artist isn’t ideal, and we’ll try to be as patient as possible, but this is a sound and style we’re vibing with hard and we need more as soon as we can get it. It certainly feels like there’s more story to be told in the near future from this artist, and at only 19 years old, there’s no doubt she’s got years ahead of her to really reign in the messaging and aesthetic.

Lastly, please don’t miss out on what’s quickly become one of our favorite songs of the year by far. We’ve included all the important links below in order to listen, follow along, and stay tuned for everything else on the way. Don’t miss out!
