Brendan Lane returns for a closer look at "Lover Lover" - Interview

Storming back on an all new single called “Lover Lover”, it was only right we had Brendan Lane back on for a tell all interview surrounding its release. Don’t miss it! Check it out in full below.

If you happen to be out of the loop on the music of Brendan Lane, well, you’ve discovered him at the perfect time. With so many solid releases coming this year and a ton primed for next, his latest endeavour is a heavier track called “Lover Lover” that deals with some complex themes. Getting to hear all about it from Brendan was a total treat and we confidently think you’re going to love this song as soon as you hear it.

Currently based out of Annapolis, Maryland, this artist is quickly rising the ranks and becoming the pride and joy of the city. As he continues to share music that’s so personal to him, it’s really necessary to hear the background on the songs before embarking. On this one specifically, it’s a deeply personal song that has to do with the opioid crisis, but in this case, a situation that’s hitting a lot closer to home.

Instrumentally speaking, he’s gone for a slightly more aggressive style that we’ve welcomed with open arms. Due to a change in producers and help from his ongoing cast of talented musicians to back him up, we’re not surprised that this song turned out as great as it did. We loved every moment of “Fame Falls Away”, but maybe it's this style we think suits him better. With that being said though, it looks like there’s a lot more experimentation coming from Brendan Lane in 2022, so definitely keep an eye out for that.

Enough talk though, let us point you in the direction of those links below so you can get listening! A word of warning and recommendation, crank this one up as loud as it goes for the full effect, we promise you won’t be upset you did. Enjoy!
