Bhi Bhiman teases his album with new single & video for "Helpless"

Leaning heavily into the spiritual and existential side of things, Bhi Bhiman has just released another piece of beauty through his newest single, “Helpless”. Read on for a closer look into the track, as well as a background on the artist.

Staying consistent in 2022 and sharing a wondrous song called “Helpless”, Bhi Bhiman’s latest is a relatively stripped back track that focuses in on heavy lyricism and his transcendent vocals. Paired with a music video that we’ve attached below, this is serving as another window into his first studio album in four years called I’ll Sleep When I’m Famous. It’s release is coming in July, but we’re urging everyone out there to familiarize yourselves with his work before the big day.

Instrumentally speaking, it’s a relatively simplistic sounding song, but we feel that Bhi crafted it that way on purpose. Through two chords resonating from start to finish, the listener is naturally drawn to his voice that perfectly complements any potential lack in atmosphere. Described by Bhiman himself, he postures the song as “if Post Malone read Nietzsche”. We promise that statement will make sense once you give it a spin, but it really is sort of the lovechild of two masters of their craft. With that being said though, Bhi has certainly got a signature sound and essence of his own that bursts right to the forefront on “Helpless”.

Having had the opportunity to check out the rest of his discography and make comparisons in the process, his newest album is shaping up to be one of his more special deliveries. The lead single is called “Up All Night”, and while we adored it on first listen, we felt an instant connection while listening to this. Considering there’s not a ton of distractors in terms of production effects or pointless novelties, your attention fixates on the words and the aura that the song holds. It’s an incredibly strong effort from Bhi and we’re now anxiously awaiting either the next single to be teased or the full record coming in July.

While we all wait, once again we suggest everyone take a look at those links below to get listening, follow along, and to stay tuned for all the major news that’s on the way. Don’t forget to check out the video either!
