With an all new catalog of music on its way, Arun O’Connor has just let loose a lead single titled “Too Far Gone” that is truly out of this world. Please read on for our full analysis of the track, as well as a much needed background on this talented artist.
Staying incredibly busy on the songwriting front over the past year, Arun O’Connor has just shared a teaser track called “Too Far Gone” off of his soon to be released record, Songs from the Reading Room. If this song is any indication of the future, this record is poised to be an incredibly feel good record that keeps a positive and uplifting tempo throughout its playtime. We highly recommend you prepare yourselves for the future by giving this song a listen as soon as you can.
Originally from New Zealand, he’s one of the very few country artists that are actually bringing a fresh take to a genre that needs it so badly. Pulling from his own life experiences and fusing those stories directly into the music is much needed, but the instrumentation side of things is nothing to forget about either. On “Too Far Gone”, Arun has crafted something that’s eye opening in sound, yet soulful within his vocal delivery. We immediately got the well rounded impression from listening, and that’s something every good artist should be striving for.
Honestly, we enjoyed Arun’s music so much that we had to go and do a little exploring on the rest of his discography. Looking back on his past couple singles, this is a total improvement and a step in the right direction for what we expected his evolution of sound to really take on. “Too Far Gone” has impressed us in a way that’s for sure going to have us keeping tabs on his latest offerings. As mentioned, there’s plenty more on the way and his newest album can’t come soon enough!
With all of our positives being said, let us reiterate once more that Arun O’Connor is the real deal and whatever he’s got up his sleeve for the near future is worth sticking around for.
