Ammon Olayan goes solo on newest single, "Into Your Hands"
Freshly released on March 19th, 2021, Ammon Olayan is back with a single of his own, titled “Into Your Hands”. We’re loving it! Do yourselves a huge favor and read along with us for our in-depth review of the track, as well as a refresher on the artist.
In case you forgot, we instantly became fans of both Ammon and Liahona Olayan after their collaboration track, “Boom”. Thankfully our wish came true, because as we had recently spoken about, our hope was that Ammon would put out more music under his own name. Since his feature on American Idol, things have been looking incredibly bright for the artist and we’re honored to be covering his latest piece of beauty.
Specifically on “Into Your Hands”, Ammon has done a wonderful job on creating a track that manages to encapsulate everything he excels in. Lyrically, productionally, and most importantly his vocal delivery has seriously impressed us. We of course loved “Boom” as we mentioned in our review, but the realness and originality displayed on this single may have just edged it out.
While it appears that this happens to be Ammon’s first single of his own, the obvious immediate hope is that more is on the way! Based on the lyrics on this track, it feels as though personal experiences have come into play in order for this to be created. Mainly though, the artist is young and figuring out life. In order to keep a certain amount of individuality on your music and keep the uniquity that it gives off, we urge for him to take his time and bask in the success of “Into Your Hands”.
At just three minutes in run time, the song definitely doesn’t overstay its welcome or feel like it’s wasting time. Every moment was methodically thought out and engineered to produce a viable response from the listener. It’s serious in its tone, but playful in its delivery. Honestly, it’s toed the line quite nicely between a mainstream hit and sections of alternative pop. Whether that be on purpose or not, we do think that music lovers of each genre can find something in here that makes their ears perk up.
Wrapping it up though, our obvious recommendation is for you to give all the listens to “Into Your Hands”. The love that went into the song is audible, and so we urge you to give it all the necessary streams. Enjoy!
