Allen Himmen shares a pulsating 2nd single, "In The Dark"
Blending together the best parts of Pop and EDM, Allen Himmen has just delivered his second ever single, “In The Dark”. Please read on for our glowing review of this track, in addition to a background on the artist.
Hitting all the ends of the musical spectrum, Allen Himmen’s newest single “In The Dark” was a little too easy to immediately vibe out to. Influenced by the pop king Michael Jackson and infusing a whole lot of himself via the production and electronic elements, this is a pop anthem in the making from the Indiana-based musician. We highly recommend you dive head first into this song as soon as you can.
Collaborating with GIMI Productions on the beat and Himmen writing the lyrics himself, it didn’t take too much time for this single to come alive. Considering music has been a part of Himmen’s life for so long, we get the feeling that it most likely comes easy to him in regards to song structure and orchestration. Although he’s definitely in the rising part of his career and hopes to be on stage someday soon to play for the masses, both of his released songs thus far have been nothing short of extraordinary.
At a little over three minutes in runtime, this artist quickly thrusts the listener into a haze with a pulsating synthesizer beat that gets the head nodding. Chiming in with his lyricism and bringing context and depth to the song, honestly the entire package of it is something to behold. As much as we can obviously suggest you check out “In The Dark”, we implore the listeners to give “Come Give It To Me” a spin as well.
