On the background of the track, “Lola” is actually based around a poem that was written by an Australian poet named Nu Lynch. Serving as a captivating and spiritual ode to the

independence of women”, the lyrics and ultimately Alicia’s vocal delivery do an immense justice to such emphatic themes being detailed. As lovely as the actual music and instrumentals are, we’d urge everyone to pick apart the lyrics and actually connect the dots within her words. For any artist that shares a first official single, sometimes we tend to be hesitant, but considering her background, we’re not surprised in the slightest that she’s completely nailed the mark on this one.
