6ray5ackey comes out strong on his debut single, "wya"
Branching out from his collaborations and delivering a memorable debut titled “wya”, 6ray5ackey is quickly making a name for himself within the scene. Read on for a closer look at the track, in addition to a background on this emerging artist.
Based out of South London, 6ray5ackey is a rapper who’s quite multidimensional apart from making incredibly enticing music. Working as a part time model and footballer, it feels as though everything he immerses himself into, he’s finding success. Speaking on “wya” though, it doesn’t take long to immediately get vibing with the groove and atmosphere on this one. If you’ve yet to listen, let us push you in the direction to do so immediately.
After working on quite a few projects with his counterparts Goyhardt and Seruksessions, it’s nice to see him add to his own personal discography. While our only real “complaint” here is that the song is too short, the rest of it has over delivered in every sense of the word. Starting with the beat and production, everything is smooth as can be and there’s so many flourishments that add to the layering of it all. Not to mention, 6ray5ackey’s flow might be some of the most intriguing and easy to understand rapping we’ve heard in such a long time.
It seems like the world is responding nicely to the song too, because the streams have been steadily climbing ever since the initial release. In our opinion, it doesn’t matter how objectively small or new you are to the scene as the music always speaks for itself. Good music will be discovered and we wholeheartedly think that “wya” is one you’re going to want to share around with those that can appreciate a great track.
Considering that “wya” is coming out towards the top of the year, we can only hope and imagine that this artist is going to capitalize off of his success so far and keep the ball rolling. At this point, it’s becoming a need more than a want to get more tunes from him. We love his unique style and will be patiently waiting for the follow up.
