Desert Daze Announces Single Day Lineup For 2022: Tame Impala, King Gizzard, & More
Updating us as the festival date closer, we’re thrilled to announce that Desert Daze has just broken down their monumental lineup into individual days. While you can find additional information on their website, let us please inform you about all the updates that just came out. As mentioned previously, if you’re just now hearing about this festival, it’s the one not to miss this year!
In celebration of their tenth installment of art and music in Southern California, the festival had to go above and beyond in creating something that somehow trumped lineups of the past. Additional artists joining the headliners over the course of the three days and nights include: Chicano Batman, The Marías, Sky Ferreira, Cortex, BADBADNOTGOOD, Boy Pablo, Perfume Genius, Reggie Watts, Aldous Harding, Men I Trust, Mild High Club, Viagra Boys. Honestly though, the list goes on and doesn’t stop there. For the fan of alternative, psychedelic, and immersive music experiences, that’s where this fest takes the cake and shines the brightest.
In addition to the music, the weekend will feature screenings and talks including a screening of Hamilton's Pharmacopeia followed by a Q&A with host Hamilton Morris, a conversation on Mysticism in the Music Industry with artist and occultist Micki Pellerano, with very special guests to be announced.
Now that we’ve seen the daily lineup, we’re actually sincerely surprised that they managed to not over stack each day. It’s always a worry when attending a festival that it might be lopsided and you’ll miss your favorite performers, however that’s certainly not the case here. In fact, we actually are in the middle of a TikTok series in which we further break down the lineup and highlight everyone on the bottom lines. This lineup goes so deep, if you’re not listening to a playlist of some sort, you’d definitely miss out on some of the rising acts.
Lastly, in the past Desert Daze has used a tiered ticketing system, which means they urge you to grab a ticket and camping pass before the prices go up. In our opinion, and most likely everyone else’s, it’s an event not to be missed. Don’t miss out on those memories!
