Inner Wave Get Dreamy at Los Angeles' Fonda Theatre

In between Coachella weekends, Inner Wave made their way to Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre for an opening set full of dreamy soundscapes, psychedelic rhythms, and so much more. Luckily for us, we were there to recount the night and we’ve got an incredible photo gallery below that highlights the best parts. If you were there, or even if you weren’t, make sure to check it all out.

On the heels of their 2021 record Apoptosis, Inner Wave have been making their rounds around the world, hopping from one incredible venue to another. Impressing crowds everywhere, they brought all the energy into Los Angeles while opening up for French electro-rock band L'Imperatrice. Setting the tone for the evening and imparting all the passion in the world through each track, their set lasted around 40 minutes and they made each moment special while making genuine connections with everyone surrounding them.

Jumping from endless hit to hit, of which included “Take 3”, “American Spirits:, and our personal favorite “One In A Million”, they somehow sounded even better live than recorded. While so much of what we enjoy about Inner Wave’s music as a whole is the attention to detail in the production, they managed to recreate that in a live setting that would only make sense if you were in the building. Looking around and witnessing the sheer awe on concert goers faces was a delight to everyone, and considering most had been holding these tickets for quite some time, there was a sweet release the moment they stepped on stage.

Typically we find Inner Wave’s music to be relaxing and inducing a sense of calm, but seeing it all go down right in front of our faces, the energy shot through our bodies. Sincerely, if you’ve yet to explore the now deep discography of the band, now would be the ideal time to do so. We honestly didn’t realize how many memorable songs they had until they ripped through one after the other. Everyone was in unison and we can confidently claim that there was a special feeling going on in the Fonda that night.

For now, let us please point you in the direction of all the important links below in order to keep updated with Inner Wave. Listen, follow along, and make sure to get to a show if they’re headed anywhere near you, that’s a must!
