TWSTD ZOO turn it up on summer-ready single, "Like This"

Out officially today on March 26th, 2021, TWSTD ZOO have come roaring back with an impeccable new single, titled “Like This”. Do yourselves a huge favor and read along with us as we share our complete thoughts on the track, as well as a background on this talented duo.

Made up of Austin Ahn and Jose Hernandez, TWSTD ZOO is a Los Angeles based electronic duo that is stirring up a serious buzz within the industry. They’ve been creating together since 2019, but since then, their “dazzling pop and future bass elements” have taken our ears by hold. Gaining support from major artists such as Yellow Claw, Zeds Dead, Slushii, and more, they’ve quickly proved they’re the real deal.

With several singles already planned for 2021, and a full length record on the way for later in the year, electronic music fans across the globe are collectively rejoicing as a new favorite group enters their world. As summer slowly peaks its head around the corner, “Like This” is primed to become one of our personal favorites and top played hits. Before it finished, it absolutely hit all of our hot weather playlists.

As for the actual song, well it should probably go without saying at this point, but we’re highly recommending. At just two and a half minutes in run time, it manages to pack in a heavy yet approachable sound for all to enjoy. Featuring a rap breakdown by none other than Cutty Cortez, “Like This” features all of our favorite elements of electronic music as a whole.

For us, this was pure party music and an opportunity to blow off some pent up steam. As the sun begins to shine outside in our part of the globe, all we want to do is hit a day party and dance it up. “Like This” is just the type of mood, vibe, and atmospheric sound that we were looking for, but didn’t know we needed until it hit our headphones. What you’re going to get is a bass-filled, energetic, and ultimately replayable track.

As TWSTD ZOO has already seen successes on their recently released singles, there isn’t a doubt in our minds that the same will happen here. We listened to their existing discography and confidently think this might be their best thus far. In our opinion, the sky’s the limit in their trajectory of not only sound, but musicianship. Do yourselves that favor we mentioned and give this one multiple spins.
