Todd Siff inspires on his powerful new single, "Fall Down"
Leading the charge with his vocals on his newest single “Fall Down”, Todd Siff has left it all out on the table for listeners everywhere to take in. We are loving this track! Read on for a closer look at the music, in addition to a background on the artist.
As a musician, theatre artist, and educator, Todd Siff has rooted his life in what he clearly loves most, music. Working as a solo artist and part of a band called Freerunner, he’s served up something extra special for us on a new song called “Fall Down”. While it’s certainly inspiring through its deep themes and lyricism, you can’t help but instantly be swept up off your feet by the artist’s vocals and power that he holds. Without a doubt, this is both a song and a musician that we highly recommend you check out as soon as possible.
Recorded at Starlight Sound in Lake City, Florida with the help of producer Matt Johns, who also added a very necessary electric guitar to the mix, “Fall Down” embodies the feeling of optimism. While trying to connect the dots on any artist’s lyrics can be difficult and borderline impossible depending on the themes, we’ve come out of our multiple listens of this song with a positive outlook. Through strong messaging, Todd has proved he’s not only got a powerhouse set of pipes, but is far above average in the department of storytelling and songwriting.
So much of what we enjoyed about this song besides its lyrics had to have been the way that it all gradually explodes and builds up through instrumentation. It’s almost as if he’s holding your hand until the end, but lets go so you can kick back and enjoy the solos and breakdowns. Seriously though, as far as song composition goes, you’re riding the wave of emotion as new instruments get introduced and the stakes continue to rise as the song goes on. However, the constant of it all really does fall back on Todd’s vocals and undoubtedly has to have been our favorite piece of the puzzle.
