Just released today on December 2nd, 2022, The Jared Stout Band have given their fans a massive treat with the release of a single and music video for “Luck”. Keep reading for a closer look into the song, in addition to a background on this band.

Currently based out of Virginia, The Jared Stout Band are an alternative country band made up of six equally talented members. Showing off their personality in the music video, as well as making us feel fantastic with the vibe of “Luck”, we can already feel that this would be a perfect jumping off point to the rest of their rapidly growing discography. Jam packed with soul and sincerity from beginning to end, everything about our initial listen of “Luck” left us feeling optimistic and positive. On the background of it all though, it’s actually quite a relatable story and message they’re sending. They’ve claimed it “all stems from the gloomy aftermath of a bad breakup, when everything seems to be going wrong, it may feel like it's “just your luck”. We’ve been there and sometimes it feels like it can be a downward spiral, like the world is frowning upon you in some way. However, what made our experience so great is that the band manages to keep things feeling upbeat albeit the negative context. If anything, listening to this song in your normal lives could absolutely turn your day from bad to good.

Speaking on the instrumental and putting the message aside, that’s surely where The Jared Stout Band shines the brightest. All six of these musicians are truly talented in their own right, and with a slick production, that only gets amplified. You get a small taste of it in the visual for the music video seeing them play, but we can only begin to imagine what a live set looks like from them. It’s not hard to visualize being swept away by their cohesion, something we honestly hope to be able to witness soon enough.
