The Barren Spinsters rock out with infectious fun on "Let The Music Ruin Your Life"

The Barren Spinsters are back with a vengeance on their sophomore album, "Let The Music Ruin Your Life," delivering a raucous collection of rock tunes that are guaranteed to leave listeners grinning from ear to ear. Hailing from Canberra, this dynamic duo may be known for their antics as much as their music, but make no mistake—when it comes to rocking out, they're as serious as it gets.

From the moment the first chords hit, "Let The Music Ruin Your Life" grabs hold and refuses to let go. The album is a rollercoaster ride of massive riffs, ripping bass lines, and the patented spinnie's tomfoolery that fans have come to know and love. Each track is a whirlwind of energy, with commanding vocals and infectious melodies that leave a lasting impression.

Despite their irreverent persona, there's no denying the passion and skill that The Barren Spinsters bring to their music. From start to finish, "Let The Music Ruin Your Life" is a masterclass in fun and upbeat rock, with each song brimming with personality and charm. Don’t get us wrong, there’s plenty of harder moments, but it’s as approachable as it gets for the masses.

One of the album's standout qualities is its sheer outlandish feeling. You can feel the passion coming through the instruments, as The Barren Spinsters pour their hearts and souls into every note. It's clear that they're having a blast making music, and their enthusiasm is infectious, leaving listeners unable to resist tapping their feet and bobbing their heads along to the beat.

For us, of course we had some favorite tracks. Particularly the opener “Takes A Lifetime” was a perfect tone setter. However, others like “Living Back Home”, “Really It’s Grey”, and “Pablo” were huge standouts too.

While "Let The Music Ruin Your Life" may not actually live up to its title (at least not intentionally), it's certainly bound to leave a lasting impression. With its fun and upbeat rock sound, commanding vocals, and irresistible energy, this album is a straight-up joyride from start to finish. So buckle up, crank up the volume, and let The Barren Spinsters take you on a wild musical adventure—you won't regret it.

It’s out on February 23rd, 2024 and we urge everyone to tap in as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, check out the singles and follow along by clicking those links below!
