Stefano Pesapane turns it up on electrojazz single, "Urban Flow"
Freshly released on February 3rd, 2021, Stefano Pesapane is back with his first single shared this year, “Urban Flow”. We’re loving it! Do yourselves a favor and read along for our full review, as well as a refresher on the artist as well.
Not too long ago, we reviewed Stefano’s stellar single, “Never Say Goodbye”, and thankfully the artist has made a return to give the world another absolute gem of beauty. In the same vein as the last, Stefano is quickly mastering the art of what we consider to be electronic jazz, but has also put his own signature musical twist on things.
Having been involved in the music scene since the young age of 8, and quickly moving up the ranks, Stefano has been involved in the scene for quite some time. Having played all across Italy in nightclubs and receiving formal training in Rome, he wrapped things up on his training at the Berklee College of Music at Umbria Jazz back in 1988. Obviously the learning never really stops though, as you’re always taking in the new as an artist.
Specifically on “Urban Flow” though, the artist has managed to jam pack an atmospheric yet upbeat electronic track into a slightly sub 3 minute song. Comparing it to his most recent works, it feels more like a standalone single, but we truly do hope that it will be part of something bigger in the coming months or year. Looking at the rest of his catalogue, he had a string of successful singles in 2020, so we’re hoping the same will be in store for this year.
While this isn’t your typical EDM type track that you’d hear in a club, it’s certainly high energy enough to listen to at nearly all occasions. Whether you’re a lover of straightforward electronic music or even just a passive classic jazz fan, we confidently feel that this would be something you’d enjoy no matter what. You can sense the love and appreciation that went into it and it really does feature the amount of replay value that would require multiple listens to hear all the complexities that are featured.
Really though, it should go without saying that this is another winner from Stefano. The artist so clearly has a vision on the art that he makes and we honestly can’t wait for what’s next. We implore the reader to do yourself that favor and hit the play button. Enjoy!
