Soul Reborn get extreme on full length, "A Quiet Chaos"

As shocking as it might be, the project of Soul Reborn is a one man project from none other than Stefano Pelosi. At the helm on the guitars and bass, Stefano has provided his modern take on death metal with groove and deathcore influences. In our years of reviewing independent music, this is hands down the hardest and dense album we’ve ever reviewed, but we absolutely loved it.
According to Stefano himself on the origin of the record, “This project is my dream because I can finally compose and produce the music I want without filters or limitations! What you find here are my ideas, my dreams, my nightmare and above all my passion for music that has never betrayed me and I will never betray!” Seriously, all readers deserve a forewarning that this is not for the faint of heart, however if rock and roll with a heavier touch is your cup of tea, then we highly suggest you dig into the record. Even if it isn’t, checking it out and being your own judge would be the best call here.
Speaking directly on the instrumentals here, it is wildly shocking and impressive that one person has enough talent to pull off a feat like this. If you had listened fully through and imagined a band full of talented musicians, you’d be wrong! Even better is the lyricism in which the entirety of the record is centered around the controversial relationship that man has with his fellow men and with nature!
Coming in at 8 total tracks, spanning just a little over 46 mind bending minutes, there truly isn’t a dull moment in the entirety of the listen whatsoever. Exploring themes and keeping the listener guessing, we can confidently state that it’s one of the more “out there” listens we’ve had in quite some time. With that being said, we enjoyed it a ton because it stood out and tested the waters in the most extreme way for our typical types of listening. Going in with an open mind was essential, but we came out more knowledgeable on a genre we’re not as familiar with and plan to explore more as well!
