SAPPHIRE scores on alternative pop masterpiece, "Repeat"
Wonderfully produced and a top performance from SAPPHIRE, she’s gone ahead and done it again with her all new single, “Repeat”. There’s so much to love here! Read on for our full featured review of the track, as well as a background on the artist.
What started off as what we thought would be a “standard” pop song, quickly transformed into an absolutely jaw dropping performance from an artist we were previously unfamiliar with. SAPPHIRE went above and beyond with all facets of her newest single “Repeat” and has managed to infuse so many experimental moments into a completely perfect song. We can’t wait for everyone to give it a listen.
For this UK-based multi talented musician, her years and years of songwriting and other experiences are culminating to some of her best work yet. She’s putting together her own signature style of alternative pop, but in a way that is so clearly differentiating her from the pack of her peers. On “Repeat”, SAPPHIRE’s inclusion of trippy electronic beats, vibrating vocals, and passion have created the ideal listening experience for someone who might be new to her music.
With her discography growing on a super consistent basis, we know for the absolute fact that we’ll be going back and doing our due diligence into everything else we’ve missed. For this artist whose primary goal is really just for those listening to enjoy her music as a whole, she’s done exactly that with the fresh release of “Repeat”. As mentioned, this was our introduction to her music, but we can confidently state that it’s not going to be our last time listening. Plain and simple, the music she’s making is thought provoking, infinitely creative, and you can tell she’s having the best time making it.
Beginning to wrap things up though, there legitimately isn’t a single negative we could point out here. This song is primed for relistening in nearly any setting you could throw it in. Imagine yourselves letting loose dancing around to it, driving around in the car blasting it through the story, and so much more. Truly, the opportunities are endless. Do yourselves a favor and give this one a listen ASAP.
