Samantha Schultz shares her bubbly & breezy single, "Tingle"

With a string of already successful releases shared this year, Samantha Schultz is back again with a captivating new track titled “Tingle”. We are loving it! Please read along with us as we break down our thoughts on the single, as well as a background on the artist as well.

Effortlessly blending contemporary R&B with glimmers of modern pop, Samantha Schultz has brought smiles to our collective faces with her single, “Tingle”. Slightly shifting her sound from her past piano ballad and jazz-inspired tracks, we are incredibly open to this direction of sound as it feels perfect for the hot weather. Needless to say, we are overwhelmingly recommending a listen to her latest.

Bubbly, lighthearted, but ultimately featuring a strong vocal performance, “Tingle” has taken us from casual fans to super fans. Giving off all kinds of beach vibes on a very airy feeling piece of music, the budding instrumentation that feels like it’s building throughout is what kept us hooked. Kicking things off with muted guitar picking, then slowly blossoming to a bright and breezy background is exactly the evolution we wanted to hear instrumentally. Everything going on behind the scenes has delivered beyond expectation.

As for the vocals, wow, Samantha seriously drove the passion and emotion displayed throughout the entirety of the song. Lyrically, she’s alluding to a “funny feeling” she experiences when thinking about someone, but in this case, it’s about her husband (Trey Macias), who is the percussionist. It’s probably not going to come as a surprise at this point, but again this is a single and an artist that we are urging you to check out as soon as possible. We highly recommend starting with “Tingle”, but don’t hesitate to explore her earlier works to really get a grasp on her evolution of sound.
