Rosehip previews an immersive & inspiring single, "Oxygen"
Inspiring in its message yet immersive in its production, Rosehip has done it once again on his latest track, “Oxygen”. Please read on for a closer look into his newest single, in addition to a background on this talented artist.
As Rosehip gears up to release his debut album titled Origins, he’s given old and new fans one last taste of what’s to come with his latest, “Oxygen”. Listeners can expect an “electro-funk anthem” that emphasizes emotion, suspense, and a vibrant instrumentation that quickly piques your interest from the opening note. We’ve found ourselves coming back to this one often prior to its release, so please don’t skip out on this track that feels extra special.
Now while the heart and soul clearly comes from the way that “Oxygen” was composed and constructed, we’ve got to be honest that the middle section that features an inspiring spoken word came out of nowhere. With that being said though, and we won’t give away what was said exactly, but it provided the perfect break to look within ourselves. Once the moment had passed and we’d filled with emotion ourselves, the song allowed itself to peak in terms of sound, style, and all the grooves. Like the artist has said surrounding the background of the song, “it serves as a reminder that no matter how difficult life gets, it can all be made better with just one deep breath of fresh air”.
With this being his 4th single release of the year and the last teaser before Origins drops, we took the opportunity to listen to the first 3 and they’ve all got so many elements about them that are different from one another yet cohesive all at the same time. Track listing will be more important on the album when invoking a mood, but it seems as though Rosehip has a strong hold on what fans can expect in the coming months. If anything, everything released so far is primed for a summer listen, and with the season right around the corner, this is 100% an album we’ll be bumping during the hot months.
