Rich Chambers gets personal on "Sorry Isn't Good Enough"

It hasn’t been too long since we last covered Rich Chambers on his single “I’m So Tired”, which makes us even more thankful that there’s more music for the soul that’s seen the light of day. On Rich’s newest, “Sorry Isn’t Good Enough”, he’s evoked seriously nostalgic and vintage vibes that have transported us musically to a different time. We’ve instantly fallen in love with this music.
If this happens to be your first introduction to the music of Rich Chambers, you’ve discovered him at a perfect time. Building up his discography over the years and subsequently improving on every release, “Sorry Isn’t Good Enough” fits like a glove in his lineup of releases. It feels like it slightly borders on being a modern take on country music, but doesn’t quite go the full way. Honestly, for fans of either country or acoustic singer songwriter tracks, this one is certainly going to be up your alley.
What supposedly started out for Rich as entering this song into a country music songwriting competition, quickly turned into what you’re listening to today. The thing is with Rich’s music is he’s typically channeling the sounds of 60’s rock, so this was a bit of a departure in the songwriting and creation department. Let it be known right now though that he’s knocked it out of the park and it’s worth the time to get to hear a slightly different take from an always promising artist.
Really though, there was an uplifting and vibrant feeling that the song left us with. A feeling of hope washed over as it finished off. A smile on our collective faces wasn’t quite what we were imagining when we were going in, but thankfully Rich surprised us and added another gem to his catalogue. We have no choice but to overwhelmingly recommend a listen to you.
