Pochenski share their anthemic new single, "Bloodlines"

On their second single of 2021, Pochenski are back and have absolutely rocked out with their latest output, “Bloodlines”. We’re loving this one! Keep reading for our full review of the track, as well as a background on the band.

Made up of Daniel Pye (Vocals/ Guitar), Kieran Joyce (Bass/Guitar/Backing Vocals), and George Coleman (Drums), Pochenski are a band formed in 2019 and currently based out of Manchester. After years and years of working together through means of different projects, these three talented individuals decided to create their own project in which they’re creating dark, epic, and truly anthemic tunes. We are highly recommending you give it a listen.

With a live audience in mind, our first impression of “Bloodlines” specifically encapsulated the raw and emotional power that we would have imagined had they been playing this in a live setting. Seriously, after listening through multiple times at this point, this song is just begging for a performance in front of a crowded audience. The energy it gives off and the true feelings of joy were unprecedented, this band is the real deal and we can’t wait to follow their journey as they continue to put out meaningful music.

With musical influences like Manchester Orchestra, Emma Ruth Rundle, and Radiohead, their sound encapsulates the high points of those respective band’s songs and puts their own distinctive and signature spin throughout the entire mix. “Bloodlines” is for sure the jolt of energy and innovative music you need in your day, in addition to their debut and sophomore single as well.

It’s probably not going to come as a huge surprise to you, but we’re definitely going to be suggesting you dive into Pochenski’s music as soon as you’re done reading this. They’ve got a sound that we’ve been searching for years and it appears that they’re just at the beginning of their musical journey. Without a doubt, we’re ready to strap in and get ready for more.
