Back and better than ever, Patricia Bahia has just shared her newest single, “Count On Me”, in which she’s displaying all the best elements of herself as a musician. Reminiscent of songs from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, or John Legend, Patricia has really gone above and beyond with the vocals and overall production on this track that we’ve instantly fallen in love with.
Featuring an uplifting message and an infinitely timeless and classic feel to it, this is the song and complete message that all need in their lives right now. Since our last coverage of Patricia Bahia in which we covered her single, “(Say Yes) World With A Little More Love”, it wasn’t overly difficult to love that song and anything else she has released. We hoped for more at the end of that review, and thankfully, she’s delivered this single that has 100% rivaled everything else she’s made in terms of quality and presence.
Vocally and instrumentally, we’d have no choice but to give it a 10 out of 10. Really, everything here is so crisp, clean, and inviting as a music listener. There’s really a warm feeling that comes across on the song from start to finish that legitimately puts a smile on your face while listening. In such a tough past year for all, the message here and the themes covered are just the type of message that needs to be sent to the world. This is feel good music at its finest.
Patricia actually had a co-writer on this song named Diana Rose Dawson, who is a multi-award-winning singer songwriter who has been writing and performing music for nearly two decades. Patricia and Diana have been co-writing songs since 2009 when they co-wrote Patricia’s song “Good Day” (On Bahia’s Save Your Heart CD) with Athena Marie Byrne. Together as powerhouse collaborators, they’ve managed to take the ideas in their heads and turn them into a shining reality of music.
