Nidoo shares an inspiring & upbeat track, "Powerful"
With a string of successful releases already coming over the past year, Nidoo has returned with another one that is truly uplifting! Please read on for our full review of “Powerful”, as well as a background on this emerging artist.
Empowering, euphoric, and so vibrant, Nidoo has done it yet again on her latest, “Powerful”. This R&B and Pop hybrid star has just unleashed a huge summer hit that we sincerely haven’t been able to turn off since it crossed our paths. Constantly hitting highs within the vocals and leaving a strong message too, we can confidently state that this artist has another winner on her hands that is 100% worth your time and energy.
On the background of “Powerful”, Nidoo was nice enough to explain, “Powerful is about finding your own strength again and understanding how powerful you actually are”.The lyrics speak for themselves, but the entire delivery and package of the song is what really sells it in the end. To be clear, we’re adoring the nature of the positivity of the song, but that’s not all that made us love it the most. It’s the fact that songs like these need to be heard all over to uplift those that need it the most, which is why we all need to spread Nidoo’s message.
Considering that Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Tori Kelly, and so many are cited as influences, we’re not surprised that the song sounds like this, in addition to Nidoo’s vocals being right on par with there's. She’s hitting notes with an ease of effort and making it look easy in the process. We cannot wait to dig into the rest of her discography and see what else she’s cooking up in the hopefully near months too.
Seeing as though this is her fifth overall single, we have a feeling there’s more to expect in the future. It’s surely going to be tough to top this one, however with talent running through her seemingly easy, our bets are on the artist. With that being said though, it’s about time to quit the hyping on the artist so that you can do the hyping for yourselves!
