Hot off the release of his latest single “Wicked Games”, we got a wonderful opportunity to sit and speak with Nick Voss for a much needed background on it all. Please check out our full interview with the artist below.
For those unfamiliar with Nick Voss, he’s an immensely talented singer and songwriter who’s effortlessly meshing R&B and Pop for a signature sound. While he’s in the process of building his discography with so much more on the way, his latest ballad titled “Wicked Games” is an instant jaw dropper from the opening note. Of course getting to speak with him was the cherry on top, but hearing the in’s and out’s of his life and recording process was quite nice too.
With the help of producer Nathan Walters to perfect the track, these collaborators have put something seriously special together that hits harder with repeated listens. Now of course we’d love for you to check out our conversation, but ultimately the goal here is to listen to this song that keeps on giving. Without spoiling too much though, speaking with Nick really was an eye opening experience on the musical life that he’s living. Besides making original music, he’s so involved in his local scene, musical theater, and has even done multiple stints on cruise ships as well. To say music is his passion would be an absolute understatement.
Considering that this is just his third official single overall, he’s mapped out his trajectory over the next six months or so. Fans old and new can obviously expect more singles to come their way, but additionally we should be seeing an even artsier side of the musician with a slew of music videos as well. For this emerging star that’s continuing to make a name for himself, we sincerely can’t wait to follow along on his journey as he releases, solidifies his sound, and deservedly gets his name out there to the masses.
