Michelle Limanjae delivers a euphoric performance on "Pluviophile Song"

On just her second overall single “Pluviophile Song”, Michelle Limanjae has already carved out a musical niche for herself that stands out from the pack. Please read on for our glowing review of the track, as well as a background on this blooming artist.

Following up her sensational debut “Hey Dear Heidi”, we’re thrilled to see the return of Michelle Limanjae with a track called “Pluviophile Song” that shows off her greatest strengths. Hitting endless highs on the vocal side of things and exploring a song structure like we’ve never experienced, it’s hard not to love every facet of the single. If this is your introduction to the artist, don’t waste another moment, please hit that play button.

For those unaware of the term, a “pluviophile” is essentially someone who finds the joy and peacefulness on rainy days. Expressing that love on a true piece of beauty, Michelle has created this tastefully fun arrangement to help express those feelings. While of course we found the lyricism to be intriguing from start to finish, you honestly can’t help but be instantly inspired and captivated by the raw emotion flowing through the song. Seriously, Michelle’s vocals are one facet that deserve a million compliments, but creating a structure like this was next level. The song itself only comes in at around three minutes, however it dives, twists, and turns into multiple directions giving the listener whiplash in the best way possible. There’s no possibility of listening and not having your interest piqued consistently.

As it’s just her second single, you have to essentially compare it to the debut, “Hey Dear Heidi”. We really did enjoy the first one, but we can’t overstate the immense amount of emotions that the latest made us feel. In the grand scheme of it all though, she’s amassing this discography that has not only impressed us, but given the overwhelming urge to follow along closely. We’ll anxiously be awaiting a follow up, but no rush to Michelle as we know you can’t force art.

With all that being said, let us not spoil anything else! Check out those links below to listen, follow along, and to stay tuned for more.
