Lump200 shares dynamic single "Kryptomarch" ahead of "islesofyou" app release
A complex release like we’ve never experienced before, Lump200 has just shared a new single “Kryptomarch”, paired with a new social-audio app, islesofyou. Read on for a much closer look at the two, as well as a background on this incredibly talented artist.
Currently based out of Berlin, Lump200 has just teased out a lead single called “Kryptomarch” ahead of his 5th full length record coming sometime in 2023. What makes this sincerely interesting though is that it’s going to be a part of a new app called islesofyou. According to the artist, it’s an open and inclusive project platform, ultimately allowing users to easily record and publish their own audio, voice, music, or truly whatever sounds they’d like. It’s a seriously cool concept, which is why we’re imploring listeners to check out the single and the impending project.
As for the actual music, well, Lump200 has really blown us away in the sense that “Kryptomarch” feels like a time and soundwarp, filled with so many different styles and genres. It’s a unique mix of electronic and acoustic tones, but once it’s shared on islesofyou, we suppose it’s up for anyone to do what they will with it, primed for public participation and creating new versions or widgets. It’s certainly the first of its kind in terms of being a hybrid release, but also gives the opportunity for infinite collaboration and the ability to spread the song far and wide. We can say for a fact that “Kryptomarch” on its own has so many chances to be shited and experimented with, we can’t wait to hear what users will do.
Coming in at just around three minutes in complete runtime, Lump200 immediately gets off on a high note creating a specific vibe and tone through the track. The production is top notch and fills its space effortlessly, allowing the mind to wander as you’re presented with so many interesting soundscapes and atmospheres. Even better is there’s an all new animated illustration that was just shared to accompany the track, further giving “Kryptomarch” all the complexity it really deserves.
