lostbody produce a memorable 2nd second single, "Deep End"
On only their second official single titled “Deep End”, this trio named lostbody have managed to turn us into super fans. We’re loving this song! Read on for our full review of the track, as well as a background on the band.
What started out as three roommates living together, eventually turned into the musical project called lostbody. Of course disbanding from their previous bands may have had something to do with it, however we’re sort of thrilled it happened because it's given us two magnificent singles so far. Our focus is on their latest called “Deep End”, which we’re 100% recommending you check out as soon as you can.
Considering they’ve produced over 30 demos in the past year, we’re over now crossing our fingers at least half of those will see the light of day sometime in 2022. Whether or not they do or don’t, we’ll still have “Deep End” to rejoice in. Truly, it’s not often that a song like this reverberates with us so quickly, but considering the lyricism surrounding being a young adult in today’s society, it’s quite relatable to say the least.
Ultimately what we loved the most about it was just how effortless it felt in their collective sounds coming together to create some grand. It’s incredibly catchy, the melodies are infectious, and the top notch production is really what sealed the deal for us the most. Honestly the only real “con” we’d want to point out is that it was a little on the short side at under three minutes, but that probably just means we’ll be streaming it more and more to achieve the desired effect.
With hopefully so much more on the way and two great tracks out thus far (check out “End Times” too), lostbody have proved to us quickly that they’re legit. It’s just the type of hybrid music that we like and we’d love to see them further expand their sound in the coming years. Without a doubt, it’s a band we plan on keeping our eyes on.
